VA Innovation manufactures high-reliability test sockets and pogo pin contactors. The sockets have low-insertion force contactors that utilize various double-end pogo pins which are used for production testing of ICs. BGA, CSP, MLP/QFN and TSOP sockets are available. Pitch can go as low as 3mm. The contacts are replaceable, further lowering production costs. A minimum insertion life or 300k can be expected.
