The Model 680S automatic embossed tape forming machine has been designed and built with high volume production in mind - it is the fastest system available today with a throughput of more than 600 meters/hour per track and is rugged, efficient and very cost effective.
The 680S operates with the highest forming accuracy using a "match metal forming" process; sprocket holes are also punched during forming.
In addition, the Model 680S is very versatile and can process various tape widths with a simple tooling change (change time is less than 1 hour).
The system can handle feed materials with thicknesses ranging from 0.3 - 0.5 mm and is able to form pockets up to 6 mm deep. The embossed tape is output onto a single 22 inch diameter reel.
